Oh, yum! This chicken fettuccine Alfredo is tasty. What's not to love? It has a cheesy, buttery garlic Alfredo sauce that's easy to make. Bits of crunchy broccoli add texture to the dish. Mixed with chicken breasts, it's a hearty restaurant-quality meal.

Ingredients For chicken fettuccine with broccoli

  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
    shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 - 2 bunch
    fresh broccoli
  • 1 lb
    chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • lemon pepper, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    extra virgin olive oil
  • 8 oz
    fettuccine pasta

How To Make chicken fettuccine with broccoli

  • Cream, butter, and Parmesan cheese in a saucepan.
    Combine the cream, butter, and Parmesan cheese in a saucepan.
  • Alfredo sauce simmering on the stove.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring continually until it begins to boil. Remove from the heat, being careful not to overcook the mixture. It should be slightly thickened.
  • Steamed broccoli in a colander.
    Steam the broccoli florets in a vegetable steamer for about 16 minutes. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Sliced and seasoned chicken on a cutting board.
    Meanwhile, add the chicken to large bowl and sprinkle with the lemon pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss lightly.
  • Cooking the chicken.
    Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and stir occasionally until fully cooked.
  • Draining the cooked fettuccine.
    Cook the pasta in the boiling water until al dente, about 7 minutes or so. Drain.
  • Mixing sauce, broccoli, pasta, and chicken in a bowl.
    In a large pasta bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, and sauce. Toss and serve hot. Enjoy!
