This is a quick and easy dish that we love to eat with a tomato salad, garlicy greenbeans and breadsticks.

Ingredients

  • 1, 12oz. packages fettucine pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, cubed
  • 1, 4oz. cans sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup celery, thin sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup light cream
  • 2/3 cup grated parmesean cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon white pepper

How To Make chicken fettuccine,millie's

  • Step 1
    Start fettuccine to cooking per package directions.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile in med.large skillet melt butter then add celery. Cook 1 minute then add mushrooms. When celery is tender add in cooked chicken and heat through.
  • Step 3
    Add in cream and heat but do not boil. Drain pasta reserving 3 tablespoons of the pasta water.
  • Step 4
    Add hot pasta and reserved pasta water to sauce . Add grated parmesean cheese,salt, pepper and toss together. Serve right away.
