MARINADE INGREDIENTS

minced garlic cloves
1/3 c
worcestershire sauce

liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 tsp
pepper
1/4 tsp
thyme
3 Tbsp
lime juice
fresh cilantro, finely chopped
sour cream
guacamole
1
yellow onion, sliced into rings
1 tsp
cumin
1/4 c
soy sauce
2 tsp
vegetable oil
1/4 tsp
oregano
1/4 tsp
cayenne
1
shot of tequila
jack cheese, grated

How to Make Chicken Fajitas Grande

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place chicken breasts in a non-metallic container.
  • 2Top with onion rings and green pepper strips.
  • 3Combine marinade ingredients in a small bowl; mix well and pour over meat and onions.
  • 4Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
  • 5Remove the meat and onions from marinade, reserving the onions, peppers and marinade.
  • 6Place meat on grill, basting often with the marinade and turning often.
  • 7Meanwhile saute onion and peppers in butter and salsa.
  • 8When the chicken breasts are done slice into thin strips and add to the skillet with saute vegetables.
  • 9Heat flour tortillas quickly on the grill.
  • 10Watching and turning them often.
  • 11Serve mixture hot on the warm flour tortillas with sour cream, grated cheddar and jack cheese, fresh cilantro, salsa and guacamole.
