I have been making this salad 14yrs. I love it and so do my friends and family. I started making it when I was a Live in Nanny.

Ingredients

  • 3 - flour tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 cups red leaf lettuce
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless cut into strips
  • 2 - red bell pepper cut into strips
  • 1 small - red onion wedged
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

How To Make chicken fajita salad

  • Step 1
    Cook chicken with cumin, pepper, chili powder, red bell and onion.Preheat oven to 375. Cut tortillas into thin stips and bake for 6-8 min until crispy.
  • Step 2
    In a small jar mix balsamic vinegar, sugar, olive oil, lime juice and garlic powder. Mix dressing with lettuce then place chicken and tortilla's on top and enjoy!
