This is a family favorite. Great served with spanish rice.

chicken, boiled and deboned
1 can(s)
diced green chilies
1 small
onion, diced
2 large
cans enchilada sauce
2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
flour tortillas

How to Make Chicken Enchiladas


  • 1Saute onion and green chilies until onions are clear. Mix in 1 1/2 cans enchilada sauce and chicken. Heat until bubbly.
  • 2Take the remaining sauce and heat in skillet. When hot, dip flour tortillas in sauce to soften.
  • 3Divide filling into 10 tortillas. Place tortillas in a 9 x 13 pans, seams side down. Pour left in skillet over top of tortillas and top with cheese.
  • 4Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
