I tried this recipe not too long ago & my husband said it was the best "new" dish I'd fixed in a while. This is a Reames recipe.

fresh thyme
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley
1 Tbsp
olive oil
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 8 oz pkg
fresh mushrooms
3 c
prepared alfredo sauce
3 c
chopped cooked chicken breast
1 c
frozen peas, thawed
8 oz
bacon, cooked & crumbled
1 c
shredded swiss cheese
1 12 oz
pkg reames homestyle flat dumplings


1Preheat oven to 350. Butter a ceramic baking dish. Bring 4 quarts of water to boil in a large saucepan. Add Dumplings & allow water to return to a boil, lower heat & simmer for 20 minutes. Drain. In saute pan, heat oil & cook onions 2-3 minutes or until tender. Add mushrooms & continue to cook until mushrooms are golden. Remove from heat. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients & toss gently to cover all with sauce. Spoon into prepared dish & bake 30-35 minutes or until heated thoroughly.
