Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    frozen broccoli cuts
  • 2 c
    chicken, cooked and cut in pieces
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    cooking sherry
  • 1/2 c
    processed cheese, cut up
  • 1 c
    soft bread crumbs, lightly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How to Make Chicken Divan

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook broccoli as on package.
  2. Drain, arrange in greased 11.5 x 7.5 x 1.5 baking dish.
  3. Place chicken on top of broccoli.
  4. Cook soup, mayonnaise and lemon juice in pan, add sherry and pour over chicken.
  5. *CAN FREEZE AT THIS POINT* Sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Take bread crumbs and toss in butter.
  7. Sprinkle crumbs on top of cheese.
  8. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  9. Check at 15-20 minutes.
  10. If browning rapidly, cover.
  11. Can add more chicken or broccoli, there is plenty of sauce. Enjoy.
