This is a great combination of chicken and cheese. Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and onion powder flavor the golden cutlet seasoned with bread crumbs. This recipe was submitted a few years back by a lady in Montana. Really simple and great in flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp
    all purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • dash(es)
    garlic power, onion powder and pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    buttermilk
  • 6 Tbsp
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 2
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 tsp
    vegetable oil

How to Make Chicken Cutlet

Step-by-Step

  1. In shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, combine cheese and buttermilk. Place bread crumbs in third shallow bowl.
  3. Flatten chicken to 1/4 - thickness. Coat chicken with flour mixture; dip in buttermilk, then coat with crumbs.
  4. In skillet over medium heat, cook chicken in oil foe 3-5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
