Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 - chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 - minced garlic clove
  • 1.25 cups chopped onion
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • dash hot sauce

How To Make chicken creole

  • Step 1
    In a large sauce pan heat oil over medium heat.
  • Step 2
    Add onion and green pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cook stirring, 8 - 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  • Step 5
    Cover; simmer 30 - 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  • Step 6
    Serve with crusty bread and a salad.
