    oil

    chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 c
    cooked rice
  • dash(es)
    nutmeg
  • 1
    minced garlic clove
  • 1.25 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 c
    chicken, cooked and diced
  • 2 c
    spaghetti sauce
  • dash(es)
    hot sauce

How to Make Chicken Creole

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large sauce pan heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and green pepper.
  3. Cook stirring, 8 - 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover; simmer 30 - 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  6. Serve with crusty bread and a salad.
