i think of this as my comfort food. throw it in the crockpot and at the last minute add the chive cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb
    skinless chicken or turkey cubed
  • 8
    tiny red potatoes cubed
  • 1
    onion
  • 2 c
    mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 tsp
    garlic
  • 1 c
    milk or half /half
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 8 oz
    chive cream cheese
  • ·
    parmesean cheese for garnish

How to Make chicken cream chowder

Step-by-Step

  1. add all the ingredients but the milk, cream cheese, cornstarch. just before serving add the milk and cornstarch in a small bowl. when mixed add to the chowder. add the chive cream cheese and stir to melt. crusty garlic bread and a little dash of parmeasan and you will have happy lips
