i think of this as my comfort food. throw it in the crockpot and at the last minute add the chive cream cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless chicken or turkey cubed
  • 8 - tiny red potatoes cubed
  • 1 - onion
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables, frozen
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 cup milk or half /half
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 8 ounces chive cream cheese
  • - parmesean cheese for garnish

How To Make chicken cream chowder

  • Step 1
    add all the ingredients but the milk, cream cheese, cornstarch. just before serving add the milk and cornstarch in a small bowl. when mixed add to the chowder. add the chive cream cheese and stir to melt. crusty garlic bread and a little dash of parmeasan and you will have happy lips
