6 Tbspbutter, melted
4 csourdough bread cubed
1/3 cgrated parmesan cheese
2 Tbspchopped parsley
2 mediumsweet onion thinly sliced
1 oz8 oz mushrooms, fresh
1 cwine or buttermilk
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cdrained and chopped jarred roasted red peppers
2 1/2 cshredded cooked chicken
How to Make Chicken Cobbler
- Toss 4 Tbsp melted butter with next 3 ingredients; set aside
- Saute onions in the remaining 2 tbsp butter over medium high heat about 15 minutes or until golden brown, add mushrooms and saute another 5 minutes.
- Stir in wine OR buttermilk and next 3 ingredients cook 5 minutes or until bubbly. Spoon mixture into a 9 inch or 11 x 7 inch lightly greased dish. Top with bread crumbs.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
