Chicken Chow Mein
4 tspcorn starch
4 tspsoy sauce
1garlic clove, minced
1/2 lbchicken breast, cut into thin strips
1 Tbspcanola oil
2 cuncooked vegetables-carrots, green pepper, broccoli, celery, green onions
1/3 cchicken broth
·hot cooked rice
·chow mein noodles
How to Make Chicken Chow Mein
- In a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and garlic. Add the chicken and toss to coat.
- In a large skillet or wok, stir fry the chicken in hot oil until no longer pink; remove and keep warm.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add the vegetables and broth; stir fry for 4 minutes.
- Return chicken to pan. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve over rice and top with chow mein noodles.
