  • 3 Tbsp
  • 2 large
    onions, sliced thin
  • 1 c
    chicken stock or bouillon cube dissolved in water
  • 1 c
    canned sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 c
    canned bean sprouts, drained
  • 2 c
    chicken, cooked and diced
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How to Make Chicken Chow Mein


  1. Heat pan to 350. Add oil and when it is hot, add onions and a few
    tablespoons chicken stock. Cover and steam until soft but do not scorch. Add
    chicken stock, mushrooms and bean sprouts and bring to boil.
  2. . Reduce heat to
    simmer. Add chicken. Mix cornstarch with water. Stir into pan. Cover and let
    simmer for a few minutes. Add soy sauce, mix well and serve over fried
    noodles. Cooking time, 20 to 25 minute. Serves 4
