Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 2 large onions, sliced thin
- 1 cup chicken stock or bouillon cube dissolved in water
- 1 cup canned sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1 cup canned bean sprouts, drained
- 2 cups chicken, cooked and diced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
How To Make chicken chow mein

Step 1Heat pan to 350. Add oil and when it is hot, add onions and a few tablespoons chicken stock. Cover and steam until soft but do not scorch. Add chicken stock, mushrooms and bean sprouts and bring to boil.

Step 2. Reduce heat to simmer. Add chicken. Mix cornstarch with water. Stir into pan. Cover and let simmer for a few minutes. Add soy sauce, mix well and serve over fried noodles. Cooking time, 20 to 25 minute. Serves 4 Source: My Old Recipes
