Ingredients

  • 2 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 3/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 c
    chopped chicken (cooked)
  • 1 can(s)
    chop suey vegetables
  • 1 can(s)
    bean sprouts
  • 2 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce

How to Make Chicken Chow Mein

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine chicken broth, celery, ionion, and pepper in a 3 qt saucepan. cook until celery and onion are tender. Add chicken and vegetables, stir well.
  2. Combine cornstarch and soy sauce in small bowl, and gradually add to chicken mixture. Stir continuously until thickened.
  3. Serve over chow mein noodles or rice.
