I use this for all my leftover chicken, whether it is baked, roasted, fried, etc. Also works for turkey leftovers at holidays

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups chopped chicken (cooked)
  • 1 can chop suey vegetables
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

How To Make chicken chow mein

  • Step 1
    Combine chicken broth, celery, ionion, and pepper in a 3 qt saucepan. cook until celery and onion are tender. Add chicken and vegetables, stir well.
  • Step 2
    Combine cornstarch and soy sauce in small bowl, and gradually add to chicken mixture. Stir continuously until thickened.
  • Step 3
    Serve over chow mein noodles or rice.
