MY FAMILY'S FAVORITE CASSEROLE. IT FEEDS 4-6 PEOPLE. YOU CAN ADJUST THE CHEESE AND ROTEL CONTENT TO YOUR FAMILY'S LIKES.

Ingredients

4 large
chicken, boneless and skinless
1 pkg
pasta of choice
1 can(s)
rotel
1 can(s)
cream of chicken or mushroom soup
1
onions, yellow, medium
8 oz
velveeta cheese
salt and pepper
1 pkg
*optional*broccoli, cauliflower and/or carrots

How to Make CHICKEN CASSEROLE

Step-by-Step

  • 1put pasta in pan to boil until almost done. boil chicken until done then cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2mix soup, veggies*, onion, rotel & half the velveeta(cubed) into a casserole dish.
  • 3when chicken is done, add to mixture in casserole dish.
  • 4when pasta is almost done, drain all water & add to mixture in casserole dish.
  • 5stir together well. take the other half of the velveeta(cubed) and place on top of mixture. spread pieces out evenly.
  • 6place dish in oven and broil until top of mixture is covered with melted cheese. you can also do this in the microwave.
  • 7*if using veggies such as raw broccoli, cauliflower or carrots, you must first blanch them before adding to casserole dish.
