Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken -- de-boned & chopped
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 small onion -- diced
  • 1 large bell pepper -- diced
  • 3 - stalks of celery -- diced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (15 oz) can sweet peas
  • 12 ounces small elbow noodles
  • - shredded mozarella cheese -- amount desired

How To Make chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    Boil Chicken until done. Then de-bone and chop chicken in bite size pieces.
  • Step 2
    Strain the chicken broth and set broth aside.
  • Step 3
    Add the Broth to Pot. Then add Milk and Butter. Get it to a boil and add noodles. Once noodles are done strain and add to casserole pan.
  • Step 4
    Place the bacon in skillet and fry till almost done; cut bacon in pieces and then set aside.
  • Step 5
    Add chopped chicken, celery, bell pepper, onion, and bacon pieces in skillet with bacon grease. Cook until veggies and meat is well done.
  • Step 6
    Add everything else to casserole pan with noodles and mix well.
  • Step 7
    Place the casserole pan in 375 degree oven and cook until almost done and then add cheese to the top and let it melt.
