This is an easy and delicious casserole to prepare. I haven't met someone who doesn't love it! Hope you enjoy it as well :)

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds chicken (your choice of breast, leg, or thighs)
  • 1 can campbell's cream of chicken
  • 1 can campbell's cream of mushroom
  • 1 jar large size pace picante sauce (again your choice on mild, med, or hot)
  • 1 package kraft 4 cheese mexican shredded 8oz
  • 12 - corn tortillas (cut into 2" pieces)

How To Make chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    boil chicken as desired. i usually just add some garlic salt to pot. once cooked, let cool and shred chicken.
  • Step 2
    in large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and Pace picante sauce.
  • Step 3
    lightly grease a 13x9 with butter if desired (easier clean up)using a lasagna effect, place a layer of tortillas in pan, scoop some chicken mixture on top, next spread some cheese on top. Repeat step and place in pre-heated oven @ 375 for approx 1 hour. Enjoy!
