5 lbchicken (your choice of breast, leg, or thighs)
1 can(s)campbell's cream of chicken
1 can(s)campbell's cream of mushroom
1 jar(s)large size pace picante sauce (again your choice on mild, med, or hot)
1 pkgkraft 4 cheese mexican shredded 8oz
12corn tortillas (cut into 2" pieces)
How to Make Chicken Casserole
- boil chicken as desired. i usually just add some garlic salt to pot. once cooked, let cool and shred chicken.
- in large bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, and Pace picante sauce.
- lightly grease a 13x9 with butter if desired (easier clean up)using a lasagna effect, place a layer of tortillas in pan, scoop some chicken mixture on top, next spread some cheese on top. Repeat step and place in pre-heated oven @ 375 for approx 1 hour. Enjoy!
