Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    chicken, broiler-fryers, cut-up
  • 1/3 c
    italian salad dressing
  • 1.5 c
    long grain rice, uncooked
  • 2 c
    stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1.5 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    brussel sprouts, frozen

How to Make Chicken Cassandra

Step-by-Step

  1. Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry.
  2. In skillet, saute` chicken in italian salad dressing over medium heat.
  3. Mix rice, tomatoes, wine, seasonings and brussles sprouts in crock-pot.
  4. Top with chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 to 6 hours.
