Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken, broiler-fryers, cut-up
  • 1/3 cup italian salad dressing
  • 1.5 cups long grain rice, uncooked
  • 2 cups stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 package brussel sprouts, frozen

How To Make chicken cassandra

  • Step 1
    Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry.
  • Step 2
    In skillet, saute` chicken in italian salad dressing over medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Mix rice, tomatoes, wine, seasonings and brussles sprouts in crock-pot.
  • Step 4
    Top with chicken.
  • Step 5
    Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 to 6 hours.
