Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken, broiler-fryers, cut-up
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 - minced garlic cloves
- 16 ounces canned tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 - bay leaves
How To Make chicken cacciatori

Step 1Brown chicken pieces thoroughly in hot oil in large skillet or dutch oven; remove.

Step 2Add onion and garlic to oil and cook until onion is translucent.

Step 3Stir in remaining ingredients.

Step 4Arrange chicken pieces in sauce; cover and simmer 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender.

Step 5Discard bay leaves and skim off excess fat.

Step 6Serve chicken and sauce on bed of cooked spaghetti or noodles.
