My sister made this for me when I brought my daughter home from the hospital ;-) This has been one of our favorites for the past 20 years.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut up into pieces
- 1 - large onion, chopped
- 1 - small green pepper, chopped
- 3 - stalks celery, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 14 1/2 ounces can whole tomatoes, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- few dash italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup rose wine
- 1 pound linguini
How To Make chicken cacciatore

Step 1Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well. Pour into crockpot, cook for 7 to 8 hours on low.

Step 2Bring large pot of water to boil, cook linguini to al dente.

Step 3Spoon chicken cacciatore over pasta, sprinkle with freshly garmesan cheese, and serve with a loaf of crusty bread.
