Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    boneless chicken, cut up into bite size pieces or left whole, your choice
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 16 oz
    jar spaghetti sauce, your choice of flavor
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 1/2 c
    minute rice
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 c
    green pepper strips

How to Make Chicken Cacciatore

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown chicken & onion in the oil.
  2. Add spaghetti sauce, water & green pepper strips.
  3. Bring to a full boil; Stir in rice.
  4. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 mins. Stir before serving.
