Ingredients
- 1/-4 cup flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 pounds skinned frying chicken pieces
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 - sliced, small onion
- 1 - sliced, small green pepper
- 1 cup sliced, fresh mushrooms or canned
- 1-3/4 cup (can 15 ounce) whole peeled tomatoes and juice)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 - crushed garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary (optional)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 2/3 cup (6 ounce can) tomato paste
How To Make chicken cacciatore

Step 1Combine flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper. Coat chicken pieces with flour mixture.

Step 2Brown chicken in oil in large skillet. Place onion, green pepper and mushroom slices on top of chicken.

Step 3Cut up tomatoes. Combine tomatoes and juice with remaining ingredients.

Step 4Pour over chicken and vegetables. Cover, heat to boiling. Reduce heat; boil gently 45 minutes or until chicken is tender.
