- 1wash an clean chicken in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. place the eggs in a small dish and stir till yolks and whites are combined. Put your salt, pepper and flour in a bowl and mix. coat your chicken pieces first with the egg mixture then with the flour mixture and set aside.
