this is how a childhood friend of mine got her husband to eat broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut up
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    season salt, i buy lawry's
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    large bag of frozen broccoli florets, cooked or comparable fresh crowns, cooked tender crisp
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded - i prefer sharp
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Chicken & Broccoli Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. OVEN at 350
    Rub season salt into chicken and cube. Heat oil and cook chicken until white/opaque. While chicken is cooking, microwave broccoli till tender crip and place in bottom of a casserole dish. When chicken is done add on top of broccoli
  2. Mix soup, sour cream and lemon juice together and pour over broccoli/chicken and top with shredded cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
  3. I serve this with white rice.
