this is how a childhood friend of mine got her husband to eat broccoli

boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut up
1 1/2 tsp
season salt, i buy lawry's
3 Tbsp
olive oil
large bag of frozen broccoli florets, cooked or comparable fresh crowns, cooked tender crisp
1 c
cheddar cheese, shredded - i prefer sharp
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 c
sour cream
1 tsp
lemon juice

How to Make Chicken & Broccoli Casserole


  • 1OVEN at 350
    Rub season salt into chicken and cube. Heat oil and cook chicken until white/opaque. While chicken is cooking, microwave broccoli till tender crip and place in bottom of a casserole dish. When chicken is done add on top of broccoli
  • 2Mix soup, sour cream and lemon juice together and pour over broccoli/chicken and top with shredded cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
  • 3I serve this with white rice.
