Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- - freshly ground pepper to taste
- 4-6 - chicken breast halves brined
How To Make chicken breasts with honey mustard glaze

Step 1Combine the mustard, honey, and brown sugar in a small bowl and set aside.

Step 2Mash the butter with the pepper and spread under the skin of the chicken breasts.

Step 3Place on a wire rack in a large roasting pan and bake in preheated 425 (220C).

Step 4Cook for 15 minutes and add 1/2 cup (125 ml) water to the roasting pan to prevent smoking.

Step 5Brush the chicken breasts with the mustard mixture and continue cooking until the internal temperature of the chicken reads 160 F (70C) on an instant-read thermometer, 20 to 30 minutes.
