Saw picture of this on Pinterest, adapted recipe. Really delicious!! Cooks all day in slow oven!

Ingredients

  • 4 - chicken breasts, cut into 8 strips
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 or 5 large mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make chicken bacon rollups

  • Step 1
    Assemble ingredients. Wrap slice of bacon around each piece of chicken, place side by side in baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Mix soup and sour cream, spread over chicken.
  • Step 3
    Saute sliced mushrooms in butter, add to sauce in baking dish. Add pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Cover with foil, and bake at 225 for four hours!
  • Step 5
    Remove foil, bake an additional 15 minutes at 350.
  • Step 6
    Serve with rice. Yummm.
  • Step 7
    **NOTE** While it was cooking, I questioned whether the chicken and the bacon would get thoroughly done at such a low heat; however, when it was finished, not only did the oven thermometer register that it was done, it was really tender and oh so tasty! so it worked.
