1Assemble ingredients. Wrap slice of bacon around each piece of chicken, place side by side in baking dish.
2Mix soup and sour cream, spread over chicken.
3Saute sliced mushrooms in butter, add to sauce in baking dish. Add pepper to taste.
4Cover with foil, and bake at 225 for four hours!
5Remove foil, bake an additional 15 minutes at 350.
6Serve with rice. Yummm.
7**NOTE** While it was cooking, I questioned whether the chicken and the bacon would get thoroughly done at such a low heat; however, when it was finished, not only did the oven thermometer register that it was done, it was really tender and oh so tasty! so it worked.
