chicken artichoke casserole

I got this recipe from the Taste of Home website. We tried it tonight and enjoyed it very much. It's not real "heart healthy," but, what the heck, it doesn't hurt to throw caution to the wind once in awhile! LOL! The picture is mine.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bow tie pasta, uncooked
  • 2 cups chicken, cooked & cubed
  • 1 - 14 oz. cans artichoke hearts, water packed, drained, rinsed & chopped
  • 1 - 11 oz. cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup milk, 2%
  • 1 - garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup onion and garlic salad croutons, coarsely crushed

How To Make chicken artichoke casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, combine the chicken, artichokes, soup, cheese, mayonnaise, milk, garlic, onion powder and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Drain pasta; add to chicken mixture.
  • Step 4
    Transfer to a greased, 2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees, for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.
