chicken and wild rice casserole
My sister in law gave me this recipe in a Recipe Bridal Shower 20 years ago. I have made it many times and it's really good. And easy...or she would not cook it herself!

Ingredients
- 2 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 small onion
- 4 ounces can mushrooms
- 1 package uncle ben's long grain and wild rice mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
How To Make chicken and wild rice casserole

Step 1In a large saucepan, bring first 6 ingredients to a boil. Cover tightly and reduce heat.

Step 2Simmer 40 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare rice as per package instructions.

Step 3Combine rice and chicken, adding remaining ingredients. Bake in 9x13 dish, sprayed with cooking spray, uncovered for 1 hour at 350*.
