Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces chicken breast, boneless and skinless, cut in chunks
  • 8 ounces shrimp, cleaned and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup each green, red and yellow pepper, julienned
  • 15 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fettuccine, cooked according to package directions

How To Make chicken and shrimp saute

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.
  • Step 2
    Add chicken and shrimp and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Cook stirring frequently until chicken is light golden and shrimp are pink, about 4 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove chicken and shrimp; set aside.
  • Step 5
    To skillet add peppers; cook until crisp-tender.
  • Step 6
    Break up tomatoes in the can.
  • Step 7
    Add to skillet; heat until bubbling.
  • Step 8
    Add chicken and shrimp.
  • Step 9
    Stir in remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, 1 tablespoon at a time, until just melted.
  • Step 10
    Arrange pasta on platter; top with chicken-shrimp mixture.
