this is a family favorite, the prep time with the chopping can be tedious but well worth it!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken
  • 3 - green bell peppers
  • 6 bunches green onions
  • - soy sauce
  • - garlic powder
  • 4 cups rice
  • - (optional) mushrooms

How To Make chicken and rice junk

  • Step 1
    cook and shred chicken
  • Step 2
    chop green peppers and green onions and sautee in soy sauce and a little bit of water or chicken broth. after about 10-15 min add the shredded chicken.
  • Step 3
    add more soy sauce and garlic powder to taste.
  • Step 4
    cook your rice and have it ready.
  • Step 5
    after cooking the chicken and vegetables together for about 15 min. its ready to be put over the rice. we usually just put a scoop of rice on the plate and a scoop the the chicken stuff on top of that.
