chicken and rice casserole
My mother-in-law gave me this recipe because it was a favorite of my husband. The only thing that I do different is that I use boneless chicken breasts. I will save the story of not "eating chicken on the bone" for another day.

Ingredients
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can chicken and rice soup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 - chicken, cut up
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make chicken and rice casserole

Step 1Place cut up chicken in casserole dish.

Step 2Mix all other ingredients except margarine.

Step 3Pour over chicken. Dot with pats of the margarine.

Step 4Bake covered for one hour at 350 degrees or until chicken is tender.
