Ingredients For chicken and rice

    chicken, broiler-fryer, (3-1/2 to 4 pound), cut up
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 2-1/3 c
    water
  • 1-1/2 c
    uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make chicken and rice

    Dredge chicken in flour. In a large skillet, brown chicken in oil over medium heat.

    In a large bowl, combine water, rice, milk, and seasonings.

    Pour into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Top with chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
