Ingredients
- 2 - chicken breasts, whole
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 - green pepper
- 1 - red pepper
- 1 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 - bay leaf
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make chicken and peppers

Step 1Split chicken breasts in half.

Step 2Dredge in flour seasoned with salt and pepper.

Step 3Melt butter in skillet.

Step 4Brown chicken breasts in butter.

Step 5Remove to a shallow, covered baking dish.

Step 6Saute peppers until limp.

Step 7Add to chicken.

Step 8Add wine to skillet and cook for a minute, scraping bits from bottom of pan with a wooden spoon.

Step 9Remove skillet from heat, add herbs to wine and pour over chicken.

Step 10Cover baking dish.

Step 11Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, basting once or twice during cooking.
