Ingredients
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup zucchini
- 1/2 cup celery
- 1 cup garlic clove, minced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup tomatoes, canned whole and drained
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
- 8 ounces macaroni, dry
- 3 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
- 1.5 cups whipping cream
- 2 cups monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make chicken and pasta bake

Step 1Saute first 5 ingredients in butter until vegetables are crisp-tender.

Step 2Stir in tomatoes, basil, salt and crushed red pepper; set aside.

Step 3Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Step 4Combine pasta, vegetable mixture and chicken in a large bowl; spoon mixture into an 11x7x1-1/2-inch baking dish.

Step 5Combine whipping cream and cheeses in a medium saucepan; cook over low heat until cheese melts, stirring frequently.

Step 6Pour sauce over pasta mixture. Bake, covered, at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
