chicken and dumplings
This is an easy recipe. Given to me by my mother, and it is a winter staple in our house.

Ingredients
- 4 - chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 3 cans small pilsbury biscuits
How To Make chicken and dumplings

Step 1Stew chicken in water 2" above chicken until done. Reduce heat to medium. Remove chicken to cutting board and shred.

Step 2Dip out foam from chicken water and add butter, milk, cream cheese, and water.

Step 3Stir until melted and well blended.

Step 4Add pinches of biscuits. (Note: usually 1 small biscuit quartered is what I do)

Step 5Cook until biscuits are done (Approx. 10 minutes), add salt and pepper to taste and add shredded chicken. Stir and enjoy!
