Ingredients
- 8 ounces cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 cup water
- 4 - chicken breasts, cooked and diced
- 3/4 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup real mayonnaise
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
How To Make chicken and dressing casserole

Step 1Mix melted margarine and water with stuffing mix; toss lightly to mix well.

Step 2Place half of dressing mix in the bottom of a greased 12x8x2 inch dish.

Step 3Mix together chicken, onion, celery, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise. Spread mixture over layer of dressing.

Step 4Add remaining dressing for top layer. Beat eggs and milk together; pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Step 5Remove one hour before baking and spread soup over the top. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with grated cheese.
