4boneless chicken breasts
1 cbrown rice, raw
2 1/2 chot water
1 pkgdry onion soup mix
·few pats of margarine
How to Make Chicken and Brown Rice Casserole
- Pour rice into 13 x 9 dish. Lay chicken breasts on top of rice. Pour dry onion soup mix over chicken. Add few pats of margarine. Pour hot water over all. Cover with aluminum foil.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until most of liquid is absorbed.
- Note: I use chicken tenderloin pieces instead of thick chicken breasts so it doesn't have to cook as long; usually about 45 min to 1 hour.
