Ingredients
- SESAME COOKING SAUCE:
- - 1/2 cup water
- - 1 tbsp. dry sherry
- - 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- - 1/4 tsp. sugar
- - 1 tsp. sesame oil
- - 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- MARINADE:
- - 2 tsp. soy sauce
- - 2 tsp. cornstarch
- - 2 tsp. dry sherry
- - 2 tsp. water
- - dash white pepper
- CHICKEN STIR FRY:
- - 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
- - 3 1/2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- - 1/2 cup cashews
- - 1 small clove garlic, minced
- - 3 cups broccoli florets
- - 1 cup julienned carrots
- - 1/2 large onion, cut into wedges
How To Make chicken and broccoli stir fry with cashews

Step 1For the cooing sauce, mix the water, sherry, soy sauce, sugar, oil and cornstarch in a small bowl.

Step 2For the Marinade, mix the soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry, water and white pepper in another small bowl.

Step 3For the stir fry, add the chicken to the marinade; toss to coat. Stir in 1 1/2 tsp. of the oil. Marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 4For the stir fry, add the chicken to the marinade; toss to coat. Stir in 1 1/2 tsp. of the oil. Marinate for 15 minutes.

Step 5Return chicken and cashews to wok. Stir in cooking sauce. Cook til sauce bubbles and thickens and chicken is cooked through, stirring constantly. Serves 6
