Ingredients

  • 2 cups rotini,cooked,rinsed in hot water and drained
  • 1/4 cup (4 tbs) butter
  • 1 cup (1/2 pint)whipping cream,unwhipped
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups cooked,skinless chicken-breast meat..cut into bite size pieces,hot
  • 2 cups hot,steamed broccoli flowerets
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms(uncooked)
  • - additional freshly grated parmesan cheese

How To Make chicken and broccoli pasta

  • Step 1
    After cooking,rinsing,and draining the rotini,return the hot Rotini to the rinsed and dried cooking kettle.
  • Step 2
    Add the butter,whipping cream,salt,white pepper,and Parmesan cheese;using a wooden mixing spoon,toss to combine...
  • Step 3
    Add hot chicken,hot broccoli,and mushrooms;toss lightly to evenly distribute...Pass additional Parmesan cheese at the table.
  • Step 4
    VARIATIONS:Crispy fried bacon pieces,cooked peas and cooked carrot slices. Bite sized pieces of medium-rare beef tenderloin,steamed zucchini,sliced 1/2"thick and cut in 1/2 and fresh tomato pieces with seeds and cores removed. Hot ring bologna slices,cooked green beans and bite size pieces of steamed red bell peppers. Substitute spinach or rainbow rotini for the plain rotini.
