chicken and broccoli

This was made by me one night after work! I got home and nothing was thawed out, came up with it just by looking at what I had to make. Now it is asked for all the time. It was super easy and good!!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chicken
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, fat-free
  • 1 can small size mushrooms
  • 1 can small can green chiles
  • 1 bag frozen broccoli about one pound
  • 1 1/2 - sleeves ritz crackers
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 -1 box pasta of choice ( i used the twisted ones)
  • 1/2 cup milk, 2%

How To Make chicken and broccoli

  • Step 1
    In large bowl add soup and milk. Mix together. Next add the 2 cans of chicken ( drained) and mushrooms ( drained) and green chiles ( not drained). Mix well. Add salt and pepper to your taste. Add the frozen broccoli. Stir up until well mixed.
  • Step 2
    Place in 9 X 13 pan ( sprayed with non-stick spray of choice) Crumble up Ritz crackers and sprinkle on top. Melt stick of butter and pour over crackers.
  • Step 3
    Place in pre heated oven at 350 and bake for 40 mins. Uncovered. While this is cooking, cook your pasta of choice. Casserole will be slightly runny when done that is why we used the noodles.
  • Step 4
    Serve with warm bread! Yummy ENJOY!!
