How To Make chicken alfredo pasta bake
-
1Place bacon on parchment or foil-lined cookie sheet. DO NOT PREHEAT OVEN. Place in cool oven and set to 400 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy. Once cooled a little bit, dice or chop bacon.
-
2Now that oven is warmed up, take chicken breasts and rub them with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic salt and Italian seasoning, flip them over and repeat. Bake for 25 minutes (or until cooked through) in oven at 400 degrees. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then chop into 1/2" cubes.
-
3Boil pasta according to directions on box, drain well and put back into pot or large mixing bowl.
-
4To the pasta, add alfredo sauce, chopped chicken, chopped bacon, Italian blend cheese and frozen peas and mix well.
-
5Pour mixture into a 13x9 baking dish and top with parmesan cheese. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes. For a healthy dinner, serve with a salad. For a glutenous carb overload, serve with garlic bread.
