2-3 lbchicken, i use boneless skinless breasts
1 mediumonion, cut into wedges
3 clovegarlic, minced
1/4 - 1/2 tspground ginger
1/2 - 1 tspground black pepper
1/2 cvinegar, i used white
1/2 csoy sauce
How to Make chicken adobo
- Sprinkle chicken with ginger and pepper. Rub lightly and place in bottom of slow cooker. Add garlic and onion followed by the bay leaves and the wet ingredients.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for about 5.
Serve with rice, use chicken broth and cooking stock to cook the rice in.
For thicker sauce to drizzle over chicken, add about 1.5 T cornstarch mixed with a little water about an hour before serving.
