chicken breasts
2-4 Tbsp
garlic clove, crushed
lemon, thinly sliced
1/2 lb
fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 Tbsp
1/4 c
dry white wine
1 tsp
1/4 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
14 oz
artichoke hearts
rice pilaf mix

How to Make Chicken a La Nancy


  • 1Skin and bone chicken.
  • 2Pour in 1/4" thick.
  • 3Cut in 2" squares.
  • 4Heat oil in frypan over medium heat.
  • 5Add garlic.
  • 6Saute until soft.
  • 7Add lemon and fresh mushrooms.
  • 8Saute until soft.
  • 9Stir in chicken.
  • 10Cook a few minutes.
  • 11Add flour, wine and seasoniongs.
  • 12Cook, stirring frequently for 15 minutes until chicken is done.
  • 13Add artichoke hearts and heat.
  • 14Serve with rice pilaf or mixed rices.
