Ingredients

  • 2 large
    chicken breasts
  • 2-4 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1
    garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2
    lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano
  • 14 oz
    artichoke hearts
  • ·
    rice pilaf mix

How to Make Chicken a La Nancy

Step-by-Step

  1. Skin and bone chicken.
  2. Pour in 1/4" thick.
  3. Cut in 2" squares.
  4. Heat oil in frypan over medium heat.
  5. Add garlic.
  6. Saute until soft.
  7. Add lemon and fresh mushrooms.
  8. Saute until soft.
  9. Stir in chicken.
  10. Cook a few minutes.
  11. Add flour, wine and seasoniongs.
  12. Cook, stirring frequently for 15 minutes until chicken is done.
  13. Add artichoke hearts and heat.
  14. Serve with rice pilaf or mixed rices.
