Ingredients
- 6 pounds chicken, cut up
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon orange peel, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 pound dark sweet cherries
How To Make cherry orange chicken

Step 1Place the cut up chicken in a large baking pan. Pour the melted butter over the chicken.

Step 2Combine the brown sugar, orange peel, ginger, and orange juice, blending well, and pour over the chicken.

Step 3Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

Step 4Remove and add the cherries, then return to the oven and bake an additional 30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and tender.
