This quick casserole recipe is an easy dinner for a busy household. Ritz crackers are crumbled atop creamy soup & melted cheese. Additional cabbage makes this casserole affordable & extra nutritious!

Ingredients For cheesy ritz cabbage casserole

1 smcabbage, coarsely chopped

1 lgonion, chopped
-
1/4 cbutter
-
salt & pepper, to taste

1/2 cmayonnaise
-
1 ccream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup

1/4 cbutter
-
1 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded
-
1 sleeveritz crackers, finely crushed
How To Make cheesy ritz cabbage casserole

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2Place cabbage into a casserole dish, sprinkle the onions over top of the cabbage.

3Melt 1/2 stick of butter & pour over the cabbage. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

4In a small bowl, mix soup & mayonnaise & spread over the cabbage mixture.

5Melt the other 1/2 stick of butter & mix with the grated cheese & crushed crackers spread over top of casserole.

6Bake for about 45 minutes or until top is brown & inside is bubbly.
