- 1 small cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 sleeve - ritz crackers, finely crushed
How To Make cheesy ritz cabbage casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Place cabbage into a casserole dish, sprinkle the onions over top of the cabbage.

Step 3Melt 1/2 stick of butter & pour over the cabbage. Sprinkle with salt & pepper.

Step 4In a small bowl, mix soup & mayonnaise & spread over the cabbage mixture.

Step 5Melt the other 1/2 stick of butter & mix with the grated cheese & crushed crackers spread over top of casserole.

Step 6Bake for about 45 minutes or until top is brown & inside is bubbly.
