cheesy chicken and veggies one pan dinner

This is one of my go-to instant dinners. I almost always have the stuff on hand and it makes up in 15 minutes or less. Also, subs as great lower carb macaroni if you are feeling crazy but not carby.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound velveeta or velveeta like cheese spread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2-4 - chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper to season
  • 1 package frozen veggies, i like california mix

How To Make cheesy chicken and veggies one pan dinner

  • Step 1
    In a dutch oven or large skilletCut chicken into bite sized pieces, sautee in non stick pan until cooked through.
  • Step 2
    Add veggies, sautee for 3 minutes more.
  • Step 3
    Add the rest of the ingredients, stir until melted and mixed thoroughly.
  • Step 4
    Delicious variations include the addition of a chopped onion in step one or cooked bacon in step 3.
