Ingredients

  • 16
    butter crakers, crushed (townhouse or ritz)
  • 6 oz
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ·
    garlic salt, to taste
  • ·
    pepper, to taste
  • 4-6
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How to Make Cheddar Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the crackers, cheese, garlic salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip the chicken in the butter, then in the cracker mixture, pressing gently to help the crackers adhere. Place the chicken on a foil-lined baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle any remaining cracker mixture on the chicken and drizzle with any remaining butter.
  5. Bake until the chicken is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
