I love Chicken pot pie but hate the time it takes to make one from scratch so I came up with a cheaters version and it very good.

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    precook from your supermarket rottisire chicken
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can(s)
    condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ·
    milk (just enough to thin down the soups to a med. thick consistency
  • 1 medium
    bag of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2
    premade refrigerated pie crust

How to Make Cheaters Homemade Chicken Potpie

Step-by-Step

  1. Tear chicken of bone and cut into pieces. Add soups and milk and vegetables mix well and set aside
  2. I use Deep Dish Pyrex and I place one crust in the bottom and fit to the dish. Add chicken ingredients in pie crust then cover with other pie crust. Vent top crust.
  3. Place Pyrex on baking sheet to catch spills Place in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour
