Ingredients
- 4 large onions, cut into rings
- 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 4 bone in chicken thighs
- 1 cup white wine
How To Make charred onion chicken

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place a cast iron or oven-ready pan and add a little olive oil.

Step 2Add the onions, ginger, and garlic with a little salt and pepper. Saute the onions for about 7 minutes. Remove the onions to a plate and set aside.

Step 3Add a little more olive oil to the pan and brown the chicken skin side down. Season with salt and brown for 7 minutes.

Step 4Turn the chicken and top with the onions. Pour the wine around the sides of the chicken.

Step 5Place in the oven and bake for about 50 to 60 minutes. Enjoy.
