Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/4 cup green onion, minced
- 1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1.5 teaspoons paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1/4 cup pimiento strips
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
How To Make charleston chicken & rice

Step 1Heat oil in wok.

Step 2Add green onion and stir fry until soft.

Step 3Stir in rice until grains are coated with oil.

Step 4Pour in broth and water.

Step 5Add paprika, pepper and salt.

Step 6Stir only until blended.

Step 7Bring to a boil cover and reduce heat.

Step 8Simmer until rice is tender and almost all liquid has been absorbed.

Step 9Add chicken and pimiento.

Step 10Stir gently to blend.

Step 11Remove wok from heat and let stand, covered for about 10 minutes.

Step 12Stir in worcestershire sauce with mustard.

Step 13If necessary return work to low heat.

Step 14Toss and stir gently with a fork until reheated.
